    • Vitamins and supplements and carbs: what you need to know

  • Weeks 9-10: Birth!

    • What to expect from birth with Type 1

    • How to increase your likelihood of having a safe and satisfying birth

    • Choosing a birth team and communicating with them

    • Components of a birth plan for Type 1

  • Weeks 11-12: Consider Postpartum Life with Baby and Type 1

    • What to expect immediately postpartum

    • Breastfeeding and a new baby with Type 1

    • Contraception and future family planning

    • Family health and genetics with Type 1

    • Reintegrating work, family, and life with Type 1

This course is for you if you know pregnancy with Type 1 is going to be challenging, and you want to gather support. You are ready to do the hard work to prepare and feel great!

This course is not a substitute for finding the amazing medical team you deserve including an endocrinologist, obstetrician, and other medical professionals.
